Robert Love

Robert is a Cum Laude graduate of Western Kentucky University. He has a BFA with a concentration in Art, and a MA in Art Education. He has been an Art teacher over the last 30 years, working with young people from kindergarten to college.  His work has been exhibited in Bowling Green, Madisonville, Owensboro, Lexington, Louisville, Kentucky and also the Evansville Museum in Indiana.  HIs award winning artwork is part of many private collections including The Coca Cola Museum.  He has created work for Public Art Projects "HORSEMANIA 2000, 2010" and "DYNAMIC DOORS".

Robert began using aluminum cans as his medium in 1994 with solo exhibits in 1995 at The Living Arts and Science Center Gallery in Lexington, and Western Kentucky University Gallery. His most recent solo exhibit was in 2011 at GALLERY 916 in Bowling Green.

Kentucky Crafted is the symbol of artistic excellence and quality craftsmanship reserved exclusively for artists adjudicated into the Kentucky Arts Council's Kentucky Crafted Program.  The Kentucky Arts Council is the state arts agency in the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet.
